I'm really thankful to Dr. Pradeep Kumar Shenoy for how precise his diagnosis was and how clearly he explained everything to me. Honestly I was a bit nervous before going in but he made me feel so at ease with how compassionate and informative he was through the whole process. He answered all my questions, never once made me feel like he was in a hurry. Not many doctors have this mix of being really good at what they do and also being this patient and warm with patients. I walked out of every appointment actually understanding what was going on with my treatment, which honestly means a lot. Extremely Disappointing Experience I had a very disappointing and distressing experience with this doctor while seeking treatment for my mother. The medication prescribed to my mother resulted in serious side effects, and her hair became completely matted. Eventually, we had no option but to cut off all of her hair, and she is now having to wear a wig. This has been extremely traumatic for her and our family. What concerns me even more is that the prescription did not clearly mention how many tablets had to be taken or the exact frequency/dosage. We followed the prescription as we understood it. After my mother developed these problems, when we went back for a consultation and raised our concerns, instead of taking responsibility or clearly explaining the medication instructions, the doctor told us that it was not his responsibility to specify this and that the pharmacist was supposed to explain it. As a patient’s family, we expect a prescription to have clear instructions regarding dosage and frequency, and we expect our concerns about serious side effects to be listened to with empathy and responsibility. This has been a very painful experience for my mother, and I would strongly advise other patients to carefully clarify the dosage, frequency, and possible side effects of every medication before taking it.
